Isaan Newton was a British scientist who put together the three laws of motion. These are the laws that govern the motion of all objects that have mass.
Newton's law of inertia
tia is the tendency of an object to RESIST changes in motion.
This means that an object in motion will stay in motion with a constant velocity (speed and direction). In other words, it will go in a straight line in the same direction FOREVER unless an unbalanced force acts on it!
An object at rest will stay at rest. It won't go anywhere - unless...that's right, an unbalanced force acts on

Newton's law of force and acceleration
So, we need an unbalanced force to push or pull an object. otherwise its inertia causes it to resist any changes in motion.
A change in motion is called ACCELERATION.
Acceleration is a change in velocity. This is a change in its speed OR direction.
So this means that an unbalanced force causes an object to accelerate.
Newton states that the amount of force required to accelerate an object is related to its mass in the following way:
Force = Mass * Acceleration

Newton's Law of Action-Reaction
So far, we have talked about what happens to objects when no force is acting on it, and how the mass of an object is related to the force needed to change its velocity, or accelerate it.
But every time a force acts on an object, the object exerts a force back!!
This is the law of action-reaction: For every action force there is an equal and opposite reaction force
The reaction force is equal in size to the action force:
If the action force is 35 N, then the reaction force is also 35 N
If the action force is 5000N, then the reaction force is also 35 N.
If the action force is 1 N, then the reaction force is also 1N.
